York University partnered with Markham Village Business Improvement Area to bring Science Rendezvous—Canada’s largest celebration of science—to the Markham Farmer’s Market in May 2016. An all-day festival that takes science out of labs and onto the streets, the event connects York scientists with local communities and young future scientists. The event, delivered simultaneously in 30 cities across Canada including various locations in the GTA, takes place each May.
